Annual
membership fee for a member over 21 will consist of £9 + £63 + £37 + £5 = £114.00
· New members pay a joining fee of £10, this is a one-off payment provided that membership is maintained.
· All members must join BASC via WDWA, this rule is to ensure that WDWA members are insured with BASC throughout their membership. Anyone wishing to join who are already a BASC member will be able to claim a refund from BASC.
· Youth membership is for members who are under the age of 21 years on July 1st.
· All fees are per annum and payable on June 1st unless otherwise stated.
· WDWA membership run from June 1st.
· BASC membership runs from July 1st.
· New Members can only join at the pre season meeting each year normally held in early September and will have one year Probationary Membership.
· Probationers have to attend a minimum of seven (7) visits to the Fleet with a full member and keep a record of those before they can be eligible for full membership. A test to prove basic knowledge of the Fleet lagoon and quarry species must be passed before a full permit is issued. Failure in the test implies a second Probationary year. Test times can be arranged to suit individuals.
